When a HIV person dies, Can you disclose his HIV status?

http://tinyurl.com/cwcovj <- this reporter apparently did. While I do not know the person or his family or his friends, I do know that in Singapore, you are not allowed to disclose someone’s sero-status.
I am not sure, if this is applicable to foreigners on student or working pass; but for the reporter to publish that on an online medium is not really appropriate.
I called AFA for their views and they were not aware of the article. They will look at the article first before commenting further. However, I did managed to get some reply in that, no one is supposed to reveal the sero-status of anyone, other than the infected persons themselves. In death, there were no examples but they say it should be the same. I informed them that the Straits Times reporter just did that. And with a BIG HEADER no less.
Now, I will admit being party to this “irresponsible reporting behaviour” by re-posting the link above; however, in the absence of any other example, I will admit to be responsible for the consequence.
How will anyone react to this? Will anyone react at all?

I am sure you have read or heard about the devastating cyclone in Myanmar. More than 100,000 dead, with numbers set to rise over the next few days.
I am not a bleeding heart, but there is a call for human compassion that everyone should answer when their fellow man is in need. Please consider donating to the relief effort.
