Hi People,
I am sure you have read or heard about the devastating cyclone in Myanmar. More than 100,000 dead, with numbers set to rise over the next few days.
I am not a bleeding heart, but there is a call for human compassion that everyone should answer when their fellow man is in need. Please consider donating to the relief effort.
The Myanmar gov is blocking a lot of relief workers from entering the country. To get help to the survivors fast, please consider donating to AmeriCares and Global Refuge. These two bodies are ALREADY in Myanmar.
If you have a credit card, you can contribute to the effort to bring relief to the survivors who have lost so much.

yes we should. there is a malay proverb “anak monyet disusukan, anak sendiri mati kelaparan” which means “the monkey’s baby’s being fed, your own baby dying of thirst”.
it basically describes helping others but not making sure you help yourself first. i’m sure there are a lot of people who will DIE so that others will live, to those folks, i will not say much.
but i will make sure my own life is adequately taken care of, that i may look after others, for more years to come.
