Samsung NC10 Saved My Holiday Trip!

March 25, 2009 by mhisham · 3 Comments

Last weekend, I was at Batam, having a short holiday with friends. I was out of reach from a lot of people as my Singtel-powered phone lost its roaming ability. Fortunately, there is wireless access at the resort(after I did a scan using my Nokia N78).

So, out comes my Samsung NC10 and after powering up, I launched Skype. I called home and quickly got my sibling to call my other friends who’s at another part of the island to inform them that I am already at the resort and without any keys.

If the title of this post sounds familiar, it’s because, last year my Nokia N78 saved me when I was in the Malaysian highway and I posted about it too! :)

So, yes, this time, my Samsung NC10 saved my holiday trip, well somewhat. ;) However, I’ve got to thank the good people of Samsung Singapore for presenting me with the Samsung NC10, making me 1 out of 6 people in Singapore, to own a Samsung NC10(at this point of blog post).

I won the Samsung NC10 from a Twitter contest held during the “BlogOut! 2009″ in Singapore a couple of weeks ago! Happy moment for me! haha :)

Here’s a short video of me unveiling the Samsung NC10. Captured using the Nokia N78. :)

I will be posting again on what I’ve felt, using the Samsung NC10.
